Flower Mound, Texas (June 8,2018) – A fearless leader in the war against waste, Carl Wehmeyer, Executive Vice President, Niagara Conservation, is in the running to win Entrepreneur of the Year, Southwest Region. Founded and produced by EY, the Entrepreneur of The Year Awards are the world’s most prestigious business awards program for entrepreneurs. Finalists and winners are chosen from an independent panel of judges, including entrepreneurs and prominent leaders from business, finance and the local community.

His nomination is well-earned. His leadership helped transform the company into what it is today, from bridging the gap between a family business to a professional organization, to spearheading marketing campaigns that challenged the industry status quo.

Now, as climate change, population growth, and record droughts present an unprecedented strain on the world’s water supply, Niagara’s leadership in recruiting others in the fight against water waste has never been more essential. With visionary people like Carl at the helm, those who join will be in good company.
