  1. HOW DO I DETERMINE WHAT SIZE ROUGH-IN MODEL TO PURCHASE?
Rough-in size is determined based on the distance between the wall behind the toilet and the center of the toilet bolt holes. The standard rough-in measurement is 12 inches. Occasionally, a 10- or 14-inch rough-in can be found in older residences.

To find the model or SKU number, remove the tank lid from your tank and look at the back wall. You will either see a letter/number combination, starting with the letter ‘N’ followed by 4 numbers, or a SKU number which will be a set of 3 numbers, a dash, followed by 3 more numbers. Please keep in mind that some Home Depot SKU numbers are shared between multiple manufacturers. The best way to tell if a Home Depot Toilet is one we provide, check the receipt or the product box for the UPC code number. CALIFORNIA PRODUCT INFORMATION

The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as “Proposition 65,” requires manufacturers to provide a warning label on products that may contain chemicals on the State of California’s Prop 65 list. The list of chemicals covered by Prop 65 now exceeds 900, and is updated every year. For a complete listing, visit https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list. In August 2016, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) adopted new Prop 65 regulations that become effective August 30, 2018. The new Prop 65 regulations include changes to the requirements for warning label language and use. These changes address not only the labeling of product packaging, but also the requirements for warnings on website landing pages and catalog pages used to sell products to consumers in California.
